Nunavut is full of art and ultra-talented Inuit artists. The handcrafts are absolutely breathtaking and varied. Below are photos of some of our favourite items we found, many of which we brought home with us for ourselves or as gifts (and others we just wished we could buy!).
Where we have the information, we have included the name of the artist to ensure they are recognized for their gorgeous work by us– you can click on the photo in the gallery for more information on each piece.
As well, for more information on the artists and the places such items can be purchased featured herein, see my blog post under “Shop”: Iqaluit: A Guide of Where to Eat, Drink, Sleep, Shop and Play
